my bio
My name is Katie Tallo and this is my blog. I created it in April of 2010 as a way to express myself, to explore bits and pieces of life, and to inspire momentum in the lives of others.
I’m a mother, wife, filmmaker, novelist, painter, golden retriever parent, fitness lover, and vegetarian who eats fish. Some of my writing is raunchy, some is sweet. Some of my films are gritty, some are gentle. I am not one thing. I am human, flexible, imperfect and free to become or try whatever I choose.
My mission is to seek out simple, soulful ways to live, eat, move, create and flow with life.
Momentum ebbs and flows through my life and through this blog. I hope to gently guide you into its flow.
It is worth noting that I stopped writing essays for this blog on a beautiful sunny Saturday on May 26 of 2012, just over two years after beginning it. But in many ways I am still here and one day may return. For now, I’m focused on writing my novel and living a peaceful life with my husband, daughter and dog. Maybe one day our paths will cross. Until then, I wish for you a life lived on your own terms and from your heart.
